Screamingly good ideas for a ghoulish night

Hallowe’en is fast approaching, and you are holding a party for either adults or children, or both?
As successful events planners, we thought it a great idea to give you a helping hand, by creating a party checklist containing some great ideas for making your party one to spookily remember.

In the UK, Hallowe’en is getting much more popular. Most supermarkets have a complete range of Hallowe’en products and tasty treats, as well as costumes, masks and extras. You could spend a complete fortune! Our first tip is simply to…

Keep it simple

The key to a great party is all in the planning. Decide on a suitable time for the party. Start early in the evening if children are welcome to allows families to enjoy the party together. Consider the time it gets dark as it’s much more fun to go to a Halloween party in the dark, rather than during daylight hours.

Then make a list of all the things you might need – we have prepared a checklist to start you off. Prepare a buffet menu – you can rename some food easily with a creepy name eg a simple punch can become ‘Dragons Blood Punch’ or reshaped in some way to become Hallowe’en themed eg rice krispie pumpkins.
